Jeera Pulao Recipe Ingredients

Basmati Rice-1 cup
Jeera-1 tbsp
Onion (chopped)-1
Cloves-3
Cinnamon-2
Bay leaf-1 or 2
Salt to taste
Oil-2 tsp
Ghee-1 tsp

Jeera Pulao Recipe Procedure

  1. Wash the rice and soak it in water for some time. Keep a side.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf. Saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Then add jeera, when it is splutters you can add chopped onions and fry it become golden brown.
  4. Now add the drained basmati rice and mix it. Add 2 cups of water with salt to taste in it.
  5. Cook this rice in a pressure cooker for 2 to 3 vessels.
  6. Turn of the heat and after some time open the cooker lid and mix ghee in it.
  7. Serve hot with any gravy.
