Khajure Recipe Ingredients
1 cup refined flour
1 1/4 cup soojee
1 cup sugar-powdered
milk to knead
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup ghee-melted
oil for deep frying
Khajure Recipe Procedure
- Mix the maida, salt and soojee and rub the ghee into it. Add the sugar and knead into a stiff dough with the milk.
- Keep aside covered for 15 minutes or so.
- Break into small pieces and roll into rounds. Hold a round in your hand and close your fist, thus forming a slightly grooved shape.
- Deep fry over medium heat and serve hot or cool and store in an airtight container
